Evolution Digital Chooses Softel’s MediaSphere to Power Interactive Solutions for Cable Operators

Pangbourne, England ― May 17, 2011 ― Softel announced today that Denver, CO based Evolution Digital has become a licensed reseller of Softel's MediaSphere playout solutions. The company will use the MediaSphere product line to offer new interactive solutions to cable operators.

Evolution Digital has developed a solution based on a customized version of Softel's MediaSphere interactive TV playout system, to send service and event information to Evolution's DTA and CableCARD devices in subscriber locations. Evolution Digital will also use MediaSphere to provide software updates to subscriber devices in an MSO's footprint.
