WOW Takes the DTA Plunge

CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- Evolution Digital, LLC, a leading supplier of digital solutions for bandwidth reclamation, has been selected to provide WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone with universal DTAs (uDTA) for deployment starting in February 2011.

WOW!, a competitive provider of bundled services, is transitioning to an all digital environment in order to reclaim bandwidth for the launch of more HD channels and other advanced services. The company is utilizing Evolution uDTAs to support their customers on the all digital platform. WOW! conducted an extensive product evaluation process through which Evolution Digital uDTAs were selected to operate on WOW!'s existing Cisco network. Evolution's uDTAs are designed to work on existing Motorola and Cisco platforms, and are a cost-effective solution for cable systems in need of reclaiming bandwidth.
