Conax and Evolution Announce Exclusive Partnership for North American Cable TV Market

(Oslo, Norway and Centennial, Colorado - October 16, 2008) Evolution Digital LLC, a leading supplier of digital solutions for bandwidth reclamation and next generation advanced set-top boxes, and Conax, a global provider of conditional access solutions, announce an exclusive technology partnership to integrate the Conax CA technology into a full range of DTA's and advanced Set-top boxes.

As part of the partnership, Conax has chosen Evolution as exclusive supplier to the North American Cable TV market. Evolution will provide all product and in-country support for both end-users and integrators.

In addition, Conax and Evolution are working closely with CableLabs for the testing and certification of a CableCARD which meets the FCC requirements for separable Security. This product will be an Evolution product with Conax encryption and it will be available in Evolution's full range of tru2way Advanced MPEG4 HD & HD PVR Set-top boxes. Availability is 1st Quarter 2009.
