(Centennial, CO – June 23, 2008) Evolution Digital, a leading innovator, manufacturer and supplier of All-Digital system and drop solutions, will be showcasing their ultra low cost digital to analog converter (DTA) with integrated security in booth # 2553 at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo.
Evolution’s DTA offers cable operators the ability to quickly reclaim much needed analog bandwidth by converting digital basic channels to analog in a cost-effective manner. Evolution’s DTA is currently deployed in multiple systems throughout North America.
The DTA can be purchased with and without integrated security. Our integrated security solution is based on the Conax CAS7 non-proprietary DVB-C security system, adapted to meet North American requirements. Conax CAS7 security is based on the globally recognized DVB-C standards and is deployed in over 70 countries and millions of set-top boxes worldwide.
