This innovative design guarantees the use of a port seal every time so that moisture migration problems are eliminated. The AquaTight® nut design also allows the installer to fully seat the connector on a port by hand, preventing connections which are still loose after a ¼ wrench turn.
Moisture can kill a network. In real life, the use of port seals is often intermittent, and using the correct port seal is a tall order. Improper use or lack of port seals leaves connectors susceptible to the elements.
