TVMAX launches TiVo® HD DVRs through Evolution Digital to Aggressively Market to New Subscribers

TVMAX Selects TiVo HD DVRs as Primary DVR, Offering Subscribers a Complete HD Experience
(Centennial, CO - December 18, 2009) - TVMAX, a leader in Triple Play services (Cable, Internet, Phone) to MDU (multiple dwelling unit) housing communities in the greater Houston, TX area, is launching TiVo® HD DVRs through Evolution Digital, a leading supplier of digital solutions for bandwidth reclamation and next generation advanced set-top boxes.
Evolution is providing TVMAX with TiVo HD DVRs through a cable operator focused partnership with TiVo Inc., the creator of and a leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), whereby Evolution is streamlining the process for small to mid-size operators to facilitate the launch of the ultimate HD DVR and internet entertainment experience, while also offering a financially attractive competitive solution to the previous offering.
TVMAX will be providing customers with TiVo HD DVRs using Evolution CableCARDs powered by Conax Content Security. In May 2009, TVMAX completed the transition to a 100% all-digital cable system, capitalizing on Evolution's low-cost DTAs and world-class Conax encryption equipment.
